Paver & Brick Fundraiser
State Rally is the biggest, annual state-wide Scout event in the NSW Scout calendar. This event is open to ALL Scouts in NSW. The event is run by the State One Program Team
The theme for 2022 will be "Don’t Look Back"
By 1 June 2022, 1st Kellyville need to know who would like to attend State Rally so we can assign scouts to Project Patrols and get registrations in well before the early-bird discount closes on 10 July 2022
Please do not register yourself directly for State Rally, we must choose project patrols leaders and register as patrols
State Rally is a light weight camp. The Patrol has to pack in and out all their gear (tents, cooking, etc.), but your camp gear stays put, so the Scouts only need to carry a day pack during the days

State Rally is a light weight Patrol Camp, where the Patrols have to get themselves around to, and participate in, as many fun and exciting activity bases as possible, working as a team to score points. Bases are run by Venturers and leaders and focus on giving a memorable experience that is fun, challenging and embraces the Scout Method
State Rally provides an opportunity for Scouts to explore new ideas, meet new people and most of all have a fun and memorable experience as a youth Patrol
Leaders will be on hand to support as needed at all stages of the event
The rain has caused severe floods in many parts of Australia, and we need to do something to help. We’re helping raise money for flood affected scout units to replace their equipment and to help youth continue with scouting no matter what. The money will be distributed through the Scout Chief Commissioner’s Emergency Relief Campaign.
It's a silent-a-thon. Youth are sponsored to stay silent for N cents per minute of a scout activity.

My name is Eric and I am a part of the 1st Kellyville Thursday night scout unit. This is an invitation to my 3 day hike for my ASM (Australian Scout Medallion). I need to find out who can come so I can start preparing. Both scouts and venturers are allowed to join me.
Registration is needed by 31 May so we can prepare in time.
My hike is from Saturday 2nd to Monday 4th July and is in Dharug National Park near Wiseman's Ferry. Transport will be provided from/to the Scout Hall.
Days 1 & 2 follow historic roads along wide management trails. There will be great views from the Western Commission Track, interesting sandstone engineering on the Old Great North Road built by convicts and the farming history of Ten Mile Hollow. Day 3 is a circuit with a lot of beautiful scenery and views. We will do the circuit with day packs only because it is harder with valleys and some steeper climbs, but we will be rewarded by rocky cliffs and boulder scenery at many points along the way.
This walk is great for those who enjoy walking on trails, visiting convict sites and historic places, and beautiful views.
If you wish to come on this hike you will need to carry your own hiking pack with a tent (can be shared with another person) including all of your food that you will have to provide yourself along with water and other equipment. We will be able to refill water supplies at both campsites. Leaders will be nearby and on campsites to ensure safety of participants.
More details and help to prepare for the hike will be provided after you register.
Please register your interest and availability to join me on my Adventurous Journey by 31st May.
Thank you, Eric.
Details will be available in Term 3
